Bipin Chandra Pal was a teacher, an orator, a journalist and one of the triumvirate
of the three patriots of Congress - the Pal of “Lal Bal Pal”. He was one of the
main architects of Swadeshi Movement and also stood against partition of Bengal.
He was a member of the Brahmo Samaj and encouraged widow remarriage and female education.
