Chandrashekhar Azad

Chandrashekhar Azad, a great revolutionary and patriot, was involved in Kakori Train
Robbery (1926), the attempt to blow up the Viceroy's train and shooting of Saunders
at Lahore (1928). He was the mentor of Bhagat Singh and many revolutionaries. He had
named himself Azad (a free man) and had promised himself that he would die as a free man.
