Samarth Bharat movement needs your support, assistance and donations. This is a movement that is still in its early days. Your support can make a big difference.

Samarth Bharat is an ideological movement of all those who believe in the inherent strengths of Bharat (India). We believe that the rational philosophy of Bharat has universal application. We believe in the eternal trinity of Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Christian saints described this trinity as Truth, Goodness and Beauty. Samarth Bharat believes in the philosophical tenets of Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity as well as of all other religions to the extent that they are in line with the eternal trinity. Samarth Bharat accepts neither rituals nor the organized bureaucratic structures of religion. Yet, we do not reject or oppose the right and freedom of individuals to seek solace or support from a ritual or from a religious institution.

Samarth Bharat invites all like minded persons to join hands. The movement is rooted in ideological traditions of Bharat, but it is not restricted to Indians or to people of Indian origin. Everyone irrespective of nationality or religion or sex or race or age is welcome.

We are committed to building a strong capable Bharat (India). But we recognize the right of every country to do the same. Our concept of strength is not exploitative. The word Bharat (Bha + Rat) denotes someone who glows with the light of knowledge. Irrespective of the country that we live in, let us work for making it glow with knowledge; let us strive to establish the eternal trinity of Satyam Shivam Sundaram ( Truth Goodness Beauty) as the guiding principles. Let the eternal trinity help us live in harmony with nature and with each other.

Many centuries ago Gautam Buddha (who is accepted by Hindus to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu) took a begging bowl in his hand and sought alms. He asked in the name of Dharm. He asked for the well-being of the world. He could have commanded Kings but he chose to go to the common man. He taught us the value of humbleness. His begging bowl helped him establish a rapport with the common man. His begging bowl proved to be stronger than any weapon. He spread a religion with a bowl.

Samarth Bharat starts with the same humility. The begging bowl represents for us a repudiation of our egos; a submergence of our selves into the cosmic reality; a commitment to invite everyone to contribute and be associated with this movement.

We invite you to contribute, strengthen and join this movement with the spirit of Buddham Sharnam Gachhami; Dharmam Sharnam Gachhami; Sangham Sharnam Gachhami (I surrender and go to the shelter of Buddha, duty and the organization). Please contribute, support and strengthen Samarth Bharat in any way that you can.

You are free to decide your own course of action. Some suggestions are as follows:

Think and Write. The best contribution that you can ever make to Samarth Bharat is of your own mind.

Form a discussion group in your city or locality. Meet regularly and discuss on various issues. The articles on this website may provide useful basepapers to start the discussions. Please send a report of the discussions to samarthbharat.com

Organize seminar or symposium in your city or state on any issue that you think will help the objective of building a strong resurgent Bharat. Please send a report of the event to samarthbharat.com

Donate money. You can send a Bank Draft in favour of Anil Chawla payable at Bhopal (India). Or you can transfer or deposit money to a/c no. 005501013938 (Savings Bank a/c in the name of "Anil Chawla" at Bhopal Branch) at a branch of ICICI Bank anywhere in India. (This is a temporary arrangement till samarthbharat.com has its own bank account).
